Nothing But Net!
The Boys’ Basketball team is off to a great start so far. They have been putting in the work during off- season, “grinding every morning preparing for the season.” said Gabe Starling.
One of Starlings’s favorite memories is beating SCS and making three dunks in a row. Starling said, “Listening to Faye Webster and right before listen to whatever song can get me going before the game.” Keep your eyes on the Saints, this might be their best season yet.
The Lady Saints are already making moves this winter with their determination and teamwork. Practices have been intense, focusing on defense, fast breaks, and improving shooting accuracy.
With upcoming matchups against top rivals, the girls are prepared to bring energy, and pride to every game. Whether it’s sinking three-pointers or locking down on defense, this team is proving that hard work pays off.
Kicking It into Gear!
Soccer team is rolling in season,
they’ve been hustling hard, running drills, and scoring clutch goals. “ We have been doing offseason training to prepare for the season” said Jas Philips. Jas’s favorite memory is “ Hanging out with my teammates and going to McDonalds with them.”
School and sports can be hard to manage, Phillips says, “I take advantage of my off periods to get my work done so that I can have the rest of the time for sports.” The soccer teams teamwork and dedication is really gonna show this season. Coming off of a State Championship win last season, there are hopes to win it again.
The Boys’ Soccer team is showing that winter weather can’t cool off their passion for the game. From early morning conditioning to tough scrimmages, all of our Saints are preparing for a competitive season ahead!
Push Past Your Limits!
When it comes to wrestling, the Saints are showing their capabilities. Every match is intense; there’s power, determination, and focus. Brodie Bedford reflects on

his biggest struggles each season, “For sure cutting weight. It’s a grind trying to stay disciplined every day while still practicing hard. It wears you down mentally more than anything.”
They have huge goals for this year, the biggest of them: winning State. “My goals for this season are to win TAPPS and Prep state. Then place top 8 at nationals,” said senior TC Wills.
If you ever struggle with getting mentally prepared for a match or game, our wrestlers might offer some help. Bedford adds, “I just try to stay relaxed and focus on what i’m gonna do out there. I rem
ind myself i’ve put in the work, so it’s just about trusting that.”
Wills shares, “Mental prep is something I really struggle with, I would say my best matches are the ones I purposefully go in to without trying to overthink stuff.” The team has been training hard, learning new moves, and showing great sportsmanship on and off the mat.
They prove every day that champions are made through effort and determination.
Making Waves!
Our swimmers are diving into success this season. Early morning practices might sound tough, but these athletes make it look easy.
“It’s hard. On a normal week, I wake up 3 days of the week at 5:00am to go practice from 6:00 am to 7:00 am, and the other two days of the week [I] go after school and practice for an hour and a half. It requires a lot of focus during the school day and sometimes giving up other things I want to do,” says Anna-Kate Holden.

Mac Conine says that “working out and running” keep him in shape outside of the water. Our swimmers have been putting in the work and determination this season, and we can’t wait to see what they will accomplish this season.
