Do you ever wonder how our ancestors lived and provided for their families? I do all the time, and it sounds fun to live like they did—whether it was creating shelter or providing food for your family. I love to spend time in nature.
It makes you feel happy and refreshed. I love the winter months because there is hunting season. I love hunting because it makes me feel manly, like our ancestors. Hunting is a big escape from reality and helps me take my mind off school.
Whether it’s the outdoors, the weather, or God’s untouched land, hunting is like the ultimate outdoor adventure, where you get to test your skills and patience in the wild. It’s a chance to unplug from screens and experience nature up close, which is pretty awesome.
Hanging out with friends or family while tracking game makes for epic stories and memories. The rush of spotting your target and making a successful shot is seriously exhilarating. Plus, it’s cool to know you’re playing a part in keeping wildlife populations balanced and healthy.
I love hunting. My dad introduced me to hunting at the age of 6, and I loved going out there and sitting in the blind with him. But I didn’t understand the significance of what I was truly doing. Now I hunt by myself, shoot, and clean the animal on my own. I would have never been able to do this without my dad. My dad taught me how to use my thinking skills.
Whether it’s figuring out how to navigate our ranch to get to each spot, or being quiet so as not to disturb the animals, hunting is very challenging, which is why many people love it. It’s not just about shooting and killing an animal.
It’s about the preparation and grind of trying to accomplish your goal. Hanging out with my dad outdoors is the best, whether we’re hiking, fishing, or just exploring nature. It’s awesome to share those adventures and have real conversations away from all the noise. Plus, being outside together makes for unforgettable memories and epic stories. That is why I love hunting and being with my dad in the outdoors.
