Tik tok is one of the biggest social media apps  with 267.6 million people using tik tok at least once a month. The newest part of tik tok is “Tik Tok Shop” . It is a new part of the app where businesses can have an online shop. There customers can buy directly though tik tok which makes people’s life easier. 

In today’s life there are many influencers, making a living off of promoting things on social media. Content creators can now make money off of tik tok shop as well, just by linking the product they are talking about. In the past lots of influencers have joined the creator fund which is seen as rewarding influencers for making high quality videos, paying them for there work. The only problem is that some believe that tik tok purposely doesn’t push out the tik toks from those creators very much, not causing them to do well, therefore they don’t make very much money. Many creators leave the fund for their videos to do well. The surprising part of tik tok shops is that Tik tok pushes out their videos, making them do well, and they make lots of money. 

At the beginning, right when tik tok came out everyone was very skeptical of it. It seems like a scam website. Tik Tok gives lots of coupons and deals where things that make things much much cheaper. You are even able to have 70% your first purchase. Now that people have tested the shop and realize its reliability, more and more people are using it. 5.7% users of tik tok have so far used it which is about 79800000 people.

Tik Tok shop coming out right before christmas is right on time. Many people buying christmas presents ect for there family and friends. Tik tok shop could be the new biggest thing in 2024.
