Florida State also won because of their defense holding Louisville to 188 total yards compared to their season average of 419. #7 Texas played #18 Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Championship Game, which was in AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Texas won 49-21 in a blowout win. Texas was led by their quarterback, Quinn Ewers, who had 452 yards and one touchdown. A major reason Texas won is also because of an explosive start to the game, scoring 35 points in the first half.
#1 Georgia played #8 Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, which was in Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Alabama won 27-24 in a game that came down to the wire. Alabama won because of how their offense played the game, passing the ball very well, but also running the ball well, having 192 passing yards and 114 rushing yards. Alabama was led by their quarterback, Jalen Milroe, who passed for 192 yards and two touchdowns, and also added 29 yards rushing. #3 Washington played #5 Oregon in the PAC-12 Championship Game, which was played in Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Washington won this game 34-31, which was a close game throughout the second half. Washington won because of an explosive start to the game, scoring 20 points in the first half compared to Oregon’s ten. They were led by their quarterback, Michael Penix Jr. who had 319 yards passing and one touchdown. They were also led by their running back, Dillon Johnson, who rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns.
