With the fall season sports coming to an end, the new winter sports are coming in hot! Saints Women’s Soccer has been working hard every week on the field to have a successful season.
With just one team, the competition to be a starter is intense. The varsity team consists of girls from all grades. Working together on and off the field is a pivotal action to succeed.
Class of 2025 All Saints student and member of the Saints Women’s Soccer team, Caroline Balch says, “I feel like we will keep improving on working together each game.”
The soccer team has won several games early on in the season, giving a promising future. Just last week, they won 13-0 against The Oakridge School from Arlington, Texas.
The team will participate in several tournaments, unlike many teams before them at All Saints Episcopal School. The tournament they recently participated in was the Texas Elite Private School Soccer Showcase hosted by Concordia Lutheran in Houston, Texas. Their record was 2-2-2 over the whole tournament.
Two captains were chosen to represent the team through this season, both from the Class of 2024, Emily Steuart and Elena Rodriguez. Make sure to come out and support the team!
