Spring is the best time to see the beauty of Mother Nature on the Texas roads. Texas roads have become a national spectacle due to lady bird, former First Lady, who’s love for flowers infused our beautiful state. lady bird mad it so that when rads are built and the highway is seeded, wildflower seeds are mixed in so that the roads are lined with colorful carpets.
Many families stop on the highway to take spring pictures with the flowers. Emma Williams, an all saints freshman, says that, “I stop to take pictures along the highway with my family every year amongst the blue bonnets and Indian paint brushes.”
