This past Sunday, February 11th, we visited Yogi’s Deli & Grill on Hulen. Yogi’s is definitely a Fort Worth breakfast staple restaurant that everyone must try if you haven’t already. It can be a little confusing and hectic if you have never been and don’t know how to order, so here’s our advice. You get in line and order your food and drinks right after you pass the bagel case. Then stay in line to hand the order sheet that they give you when you order to the attendant to pay. They will then hand you your cups, and you can find a seat to wait until they call your name over the intercom to go grab your food. We believe that Yogi’s is the best bagel spot in Fort Worth; even though it can get pretty busy on the weekends, it is worth it!
Maggie ordered and cinnamon sugar bagel with plain cream cheese, a side of bacon, and a coffee. In total, it cost less than $15. The cinnamon sugar bagel was delicious and filling. It was sweet and had plenty of cinnamon flavor but not too sweet for a breakfast item. The bacon was crispy, greasy, and really tasty. They had all different types of coffee for you to choose from; it was make-it-yourself, so it made it easier to monitor the amount of sugar you are intaking. Throughout the rest of the day, the breakfast kept her full but not overfilled and stuffed. Overall, this was an amazing breakfast spot with yummy bagels. Maggie plans to return and try more of their dishes! She gives this meal a 9/10.
Hannah got an everything bagel with plain cream cheese and a side of bacon. The bagel was toasted perfectly, and when paired with the cream cheese, there was an amazing flavor combination. Yogi’s has a ton of homemade bagels to choose from, and you can mix and match them with plenty of different cream cheese options. Of course, they also do have other meals as well, but the bagels are the best. Her side of Bacon was the perfect amount of crispiness, and the crunch paired amazingly with the soft bagel. Hannah gave this meal a 10/10.
Makena got a homemade fresh strawberry bagel with cinnamon sugar cream cheese, a side of bacon, and a dr. pepper. It was super cheap, under $15. The bagel wasn’t toasted in a warm way, but it was fresh and had the toasted crunch. The flavor was perfect and didn’t have an overpowering strawberry flavor. The cinnamon sugar cream cheese was immaculate and full of flavor. The bacon was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor. The dr. pepper was not watery like a lot of fountain machines are, it was perfect. Makena gave this meal a 10/10.
As a result, we give our meal a 9.8/10 rating; therefore, it was yummy.
