During the new year, there are so many things to look forward to. Most people have high hopes and aspirations for the year but they fizzle out in the first couple of weeks. Daily motivation is a good reminder to keep your goals in mind. Beata Souders says “we need motivation to take corrective action in the face of fluctuating circumstances”. She scientifically researched the benefits of daily motivation. I found 3 different Instagram accounts that motivate you in different ways. Using Instagram as a place for motivation is very productive because while you are relaxing you can get the motivation you need to continue your day.
The first account I found was @thegracevalentine. Grace writes to teen girls, college girls, and young adults. She has a variety of different topics she writes about. Her post are long but you can pick and choose what you want to read. Grace incorporates God’s word into her writing but still makes plenty of points herself. In other words, you don’t have to be a Christian to get good information out of her work. Her posts talk about different situations you might be stuck in. She has a way of sounding like a mother giving advice to her daughter.
The second account I found is for athletes or anyone needing extra motivation to be active and fit. The account is @fitnessquotes.daily. This account’s posts are short and sweet. Each post is only a couple of words which is very nice because it is very easy to read.
The final account I found is a mixture of the last two. This account is @mrdailymotivation. This account posts multiple times a day. It is very short but sweet. The thing that makes its posts so special is its words relate to everyone. One post could mean one thing to someone and a completely different thing to another.
It is very easy to find daily motivation. There are also many positives but there are some negatives. Too much motivation can cause you to have unrealistic goals and lead you to be disappointed in yourself when you don’t meet them. With that being said daily motivation is overall a good thing for your mental health and a great way to remind you of your goals for the new year.
