My journey began with a burning desire for inclusivity in our school. But as I faced resistance, I realized that our understanding of history was incomplete. So, I shadowed the life of Activist Opal Lee, uncovering stories of resilience and resistance.

Through research and interviews, I pieced together her legacy, sparking conversations and inspiring change.

Opal’s message resonated deeply: to move forward, we must confront our past.

In a world still struggling with its history, my documentary stands showing the power of storytelling and using the power of my own voice to create a better future.
