This season The Saints Women’s Soccer Team have had many ups and downs. Last week the Saints won 13-0 to Oakridge, buts sadly lost 7-0 on Monday to Trinity Valley. Luckily they still have a lot more of the season to go and a lot of time to work harder, get better, and connect as a team. I interviewed 3 Saints soccer players to say their favorite part about playing soccer and what they think the team could do to improve more.
Anna Carol Hardaway says “ I love being apart of the team, and I like getting to know the upperclassmen more.” she also says we need to work better on communicating more on the field.
Caroline Balch says, “ My favorite things about the team so far is probably the environment and all the fun we have during practice and games and one thing we could work on as a team is to just be positive!”
Susan Hayes said, “ I have really enjoyed the soccer season. It’s been a fun experience getting to know the girls. Personally, I think we should work on teamwork so we can be better connected as a team.”
Finally Aubrey Greer says, “ I really enjoy the environment of team and the friendships we make along the way. I think if we better communicated we would be a lot stronger team.”
Overall, The All Saints Soccer Team is a very tight knit group of girls who are hoping to go to state this season through teamwork, perspiration, and unity to help win more games.
