Winter Break is coming up soon and many All Saints students are ready and eager to be on vacation. For most that means staying at home and spending the holidays in the comfort pf your own house, but for some people Winter Break means traveling to different places around the world and having fun new experiences. Here are the top places to travel for the 2023 Winter Break.
- Colorado
Colorado is one of the top places to travel during the winter break. Most people go to ski because they enjoy the fresh mountain air, the festivities in the towns, and most importantly the snow. The snow there is the main thing that attracts people because usually in Texas it gets pretty cold but it never really snows which is the one thing that everyone wants to see when they wake up on Christmas. Most places in Colorado also have big celebrations for the Holidays, like fireworks on New Years and they decorate the town on Christmas.
- Bahamas
The Bahamas is also a big place to go during the break. Most people start to get sick of the cold by Chrstmas and the Bahamas is a great place to go to relax on the beach and get a nice tan under the sun. During the holiday season the towns in the Bahamas usually have a big celebration on the beach fro Christmas and New Years. You can a bunch of activities their like snorkeling, surfing, swimming with dolphins, and building a sand castles. Although some like to do activities most just want to lay on the beach, get some sun, and read a book. The Bahamas is a great place to go if you just want to relax and enjoy some quality time under the sun.
- New York
New York is one of the most top rated places to go for Christmas. New York is always very festive and sometimes it snows. Around the holidays the streets of New York are always decorated for Christmas. For example the huge department stores and luxury stores like Dior, Louis Vuttion, and Gucci decorate their windows with extravagant Christmas decoration and the new items that they just cam out with. The also light a big tree in Rockafellers and you can go ice skate their too. During the New Years also New York has the big ball drop every year to ring in the New Years that is televised all over the U.S.
