The Texas Rangers are in first place after beating the Seattle Mariners in a three game series. They also just beat the Los Angeles Angels in the first game of the series. They play the Mariners one last time before the season ends in a four game series and will most likely be the deciding factor if they are first place or a wild card. As of right now the Rangers are in first place with the Houston Astros two and a half games back and Seattle four games back.
The Rangers are on a six game winning streak and aren’t looking back as they won against the Angels 5-1. They play the Angels in Los Angeles and the Mariners in Seattle which might not play in their favor as they have a 38-37 record when playing away and they have a 50-31 record while playing at home.
