Mr. Jon’s: Mr Jon’s Shaved Ice is a favorite place to go amongst the student body. Mr. Jon’s offers around 100 flavors of shaved ice and many possible combinations. He also comes up with new flavors like this summer when the Barbie movie came out he had a Barbie-themed snow cone that was pink and had tons of fun barbie themed things in it. This a great local place to go because he has great customer service. People who go to his shaved ice truck always compliment him on how nice he is and how he always has a good attitude. Another great thing about Mr. Jon’s is that his prices are very affordable. A small snow cone there is only about $3 and the add ins are only $0.50.

Curly’s: Curly’s Frozen Custard is another popular place to go in Fort Worth if you want a cold treat on a hot day. Curly’s always has monthly flavors including Parker County Peach in the summer, Mint Chocolate Chip in the winter, and Pumpkin in the fall. Curly’s is a great place to go if you’re wanting to go hangout with your friends or just get custard to go! Curl’s also has the benefit of being one of the most popular place to go to get ice cream. When I go to Curly’s I always see people their I know, and it’s always fun to catch up with them. Curly’s is also usually affordable and you have many different options for mix ins like cookie dough bites, oreos, and peanut butter. Although Curly’s is famous for their frozen treats they also have hot dogs that you can get if you’re sick of ice cream.

Starbucks: Starbucks is alway a busy place when wanting to go get some kind of drink of food. Even though most people go in the morning to get coffee it can also be a great after school snack to go and get food or a cold drink from. Right now since it’s fall Starbucks just came out with a ton of new fall themed drinks and food. This includes the new Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte, the Iced Apple Crisp Oat Milk Shaken Espresso, and the Baked Apple Croissant . Thankfully they also brought back their famous Pumpkin Spice Latte, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and their Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins.
