- The Austin Trail of Lights runs from December 8-23 with more than 2 million twinkling lights in colorful displays adorning the mile-long trail.
- College Station might be a small college town, however, when it comes to Santa’s Wonderland, it might be one of the best in the state it is literally “The Largest Christmas Attraction in Texas.”
- Holiday in the Park at Six Flags over Texas in Arlington, is decked out with millions of twinkling lights, the Holiday Express Train, and the Singing Saps, an animated caroling Christmas Tree Family
- If you’re in the DFW area the Highland Park neighborhood decorated by homeowners in a private neighborhood would be one to check out, along with the Grapevine’s Holiday in the Park, the town sparkles with millions of lights and is the self-proclaimed “Christmas Capital of Texas.”
- Galveston’s own Moody Gardens hosts the Festival of Lights, and features a mile-long trail of more than 100 lighted holiday scenes, shows, visits from Santa, and a “Snow Zone” for kids.
- The Houston Zoo’s, Zoo Lights, is the perfect place to keep the attention span of littles along with adults for walking in a Christmas wonderland experience alongside animals.
- San Antonio’s River Walk transforms for the holidays with more than 100,000 lights and is completely free.
